What do you think of this laser?






The diode by itself would be over $1500 if you were even able to buy it separately.
The reason these lasers have come down in price is because they are in an easily accessible consumer product. We avoid saying the name on LPF though.
It is really what it says it is and o-like is a reputable company.
Have fun but you NEED laser goggles. This is not an option if you even want to turn it on safely.
I thought people were far too cautious when I first came to this forum but after I built my first laser I understood that it is true.
Find some good gear or you will be buying a seeing-eye dog next.
 
I actually have had goggles for about a month now without a laser :).
