some time ago i bought a 100mw laser from dealextreme, the one with a giant heatsink and a large driver which can drive both red & green lasers simultaneously.
the laser died because of me (potmeter to far, expensive led)
but now i want to use it as a heatsink for a 16x laser diode from stonetek, it is going to run at 350MA.
an aixiz module fits tight.

i think the heatsink is going to work perfectly, but what do you guys think, is it a good heatsink for such lasers?

this is the heatsink;
(it is a 15.4" notebook, for measurement)

Hey, I'm getting a DX heatsink as well for a project [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Haven't actually tried it, but I reckon it would work really great. It's a pretty big heatsink :)
