Hey laser junkies
I need help in choosing between two types of batteries to power a 4watt IR diode, it's a c-mount that needs 5 amps. They also need to fit into a 2 D cell host!
My first choice was the 3.7v 32600 battery (similar to the d cell in size) but the problem is the availability of these and also the volatility of the Li Po cell, my other choice is two 9v rechargeables in parrallel but I am concerned that they may not be able to deliver the high amperage needed?
Anyone with some experience with either of these batteries? Or even an alternative that could deliver? thanks :undecided:
