Often I see first time posters not making an introductory post and members will kindly point out to that first time poster to make an introductory post. What I've perhaps missed since I've been a long time member is where is it explained to a new member to make an introductory post? If there is a written rule to do that posted, is it plainly visible?

Yup... That makes sense but there is no such
written suggestion in the New Members Welcome
section....:cryyy:

Maybe it should be part of signing up. After registering there could be a "be sure to post about yourself in the welcome section". Or a rule where you must post there first before a moderator reads and approves for continued posting elsewhere. Other forums have that initial moderated posts thing for new members.
