w/ Axzis Lens, what is focus distance from diode?

With a 405nm BluRay, what is the usual distance from the laser diode can, to the lens?
I know some focusing is required, so I'm just looking for an approximate measurement, in mm's or fractions of an inch, from the end of the diode can, to the face of the lens.

Mine is focused when it's screwed in all the way , but others aren't so I would guess it's somewhat inconsistent, but I can't tell if that's the lens itself or the plastic assembly.There are about 5mm from the can to the plastic , but I can't tell how deep the lens is in there.
