The last week and a half I have been (I live very close to Houston) in Colorado. Yes, I took my lasers, and yes, I had a great opportunity to use them! My dad And I went mountain climbing, and we decided to climb one mountain during the night to see the sunrise. Unfortunately, and at the same time fortunately, the mountain was in a huge, dark cloud! As soon as we got above the tree line, I pulled out my lasers and they were BRIGHT! brighter than I've ever seen them! This was unbelievably bright.
I haven't ever used smoke or steam to enhance the beam at my house, so I don't know how this compared to those, but this had to be equal to or brighter than those. My house is in a very humid climate, and these beams dwarfed what I can normally see. The cloud was so dense, that with out headlamps on, we could only see about 10 or less feet in front of us. About 10 minutes after I put the lasers away, it poured on us and we hid behind a rock for about 30 minutes to get away from the wind and freezing rain.
who else has gotten to use their lasers in sweet ways like this during the summer?
