UV Esposure laser

Hello guys,
I'm looking for UV 405nm laser for at least 500mw or higher (with built-in photo-diode will do better). 445nm will also work, but efficiency will be lower... So, what will you recommend for me?

Also I need to modulate laser beam at approximately 1.2 - 1.5MHz frequency, so my question - is there any specialized chip to achive that? I found 65ALS543 in HP printers but his maximum current is about 100mA...

flexmod is probably what you want for modulation, but you'll need a source for the 1.2-1.5MHz clock. Looks like that's within the capabilities of a 555 timer.

After that, you need a diode and a housing. aixiz housing, and a diode capable of 500mW and you're all set.
