does anyone know how to make or buy a kit or buy a completed tv blocker that will make a tv fussy. Like in the book iwoz.Thanks.P.s would prefer a kit.

You can only do that if your TV is getting its signal through the air... Not Cable or Satelite..
Then you can jam the signal with another local transmitter... :)

Tell me you're kidding.. :-? :-? :-? :-?

Do a google search for TV signal Jammer circuit... ::) ::) ::)

Jamilm9: Are you trying to build a device that jams the remote control receiver or are you trying to jam the actual TV signal?

Laserbee: Go easy on the kid bud, he's only 11 ;)

I'm trying to build a device that jammes the actual TV signal.Laserbee thanks for the link plus it does fm which is awesome.+1

EDIT:I get mixed thoughts about amazing1.They sell a tv jammer kit here http://www.amazing1.com/pranks.htm. Will they scam me. thanks.

amazing1 is a long standing site with a good reputation for actually delivering products... as far as their products being as amazing as they claim, that's another thing altogether.

any "jammers" that work by emitting radio signals are really sorta very illegal... you won't be able to buy a completed product, only plans...

what I'd recommend is the tv-b-gone... it's a simple IR transmitter that works like a tv's remote control, beaming every "off" code for every model of remote control on the market.

you can buy a completed commercial product version from http://www.tvbgone.com/ or http://thinkgeek.com or you can buy a much more powerful version as a kit, from http://adafruit.com or http://store.makezine.com
