Hello everyone, i just got a Blu-Ray burner i shot on ebay for 20 bucks.
That's a pretty good deal I would guess. The drive was a LG BH16NS40 one.
So LG says it is a 16x/8x type. What driving current and output power can i expect? I ran it already at about 4.7V and 100mA. How far can I go?
Here are some pictures:
Drive info, and a hint that there is something I would really like to rip out :eg:
Laser unit, you already can see the blu ray diode.
A pile of stuff laying around and a working diode
Greeting
