time to clear customs?

Hi guys, I've ordered my first laser from laserlands. They've shipped in a timely manner and it reached New York (I was expecting something on the west coast ). It's been there since March 2nd, according to USPS tracking.

How long do packages sit before being sent on?

Any one else use laserlands have any comments on shipping time?

I've had stuff take a week to get out before. But it is usually less than that.

well, my package has just crossed 1 week in NY with no update to the USPS tracking info.

At what point should I consider it stolen by customs?

i wouldn't consider it stolen, just lost.
The NY incoming customs is the worst I've ever experienced.
I've had a couple of priority packages get stuck there for well over a month or two and then, long after I've given up, all of a sudden the package arrives.
The last one went into the NY ISC on December 10th and finally got here about 3 weeks ago; that means it sat there for over 2 months.
I've never had express packages that took so long coming through the NY office and sometimes packages will get through with only a 3-5 day delay, but if it doesn't arrive soon after that, expect a long wait.
It's strange as this has never happened to me with the SF (San Francisco) ISC office.

Do a google search on USPS NY ISC problems and see plenty of horror stories.

wow 2 months would suck, but still better than a stolen laser.

What determines if it goes to SF or NY?

I am on the west coast, and I was semi-expecting it to go through SF...
