what is that like material, that when its cold it like black, and you touch it and it warms up and turns like green?

i want to buy like 1 square yard of it and put it on the floor in my room.

its also an the new dell catalogue that gets mailed out

i shined my core on it and it changed color, my core does actually warm stuff up

Yep, thermochromatic stuff is what you want to look into, but I've found unless you're looking for novelty cups and all, its pretty hard to find this stuff. I was once working on a project at the local nanotech institute involving knotted regions of carbon nanotube yarns and thermochromic dyes for flexible, inter-woven displays. Trying to locate suitable dyes was probably the hardest part (well, besides the fact that the concept was fundamentally flawed )
