The TMT (Thirty Meter Telescope) and It's Laser Tech

I found this really cool.

So the TMT is in it's very beginning construction stages and they are going to use six 20-25W Sodium lasers for the Laser Guide Star Facility. So that's... +100W of glorious 589nm light. I have to go back to Hawaii and see this for myself.
