i got it yesterday it does crap all wont pop any kind of baloons you cant see it in day light it wont light matches it wont scorch wood or burn paper. should i ask for a replacement?:gun:
Did you use fully charged batteries...
Did you test it on a Laser Power Meter....
Did you focus the beam to a pinpoint...
Did you try using a magnifying glass...
Did you use appropriate Laser Safety Goggles...
Did you adjust the focus? You can't burn anything or pop a balloon if the laser is not well focused...
I have O-like's Cute High power 250mW red laser torch/focusable which is almost the same as your model, and I can report that it can burn matches at 5 meters distance, well focused and with a fully charged battery.
It can also pop a balloon, burn a hole through a CD case.
The only way to know if your laser is up to spec is to LPM it.
I once returned my laser to O-like because it was underspec. It was outputting less than 220mW. The replacement they sent me outputs 252mW (peak).
ofc i focused it... you really think im that simple lol did they send your laser out by best posting method or by the cheapest one? i emailed them il post what i sent
Hi recently I purchased your power rock red 250mw torch I am a laser enthusiast and understand out put power well it seems that the laser I got is performing way under 220mw more like 20 it won't pop black balloons light matches tingle skin melt plastic or scorch wood nor is the dot visible for more than 15ft in the day time I was planing on leaving a review on your site and laser pointer forums but decided that most of this kind of laser should not function on which the way I got it so if a replacement can be sent preferably by your best shipping method that would be appreciated also if you would like me to send mine back that will be fine I have made sure the battery is fully charged and the laser is focused to it's max id also appreciate if the one sent would be black.
This is what i emailed them i hope to get a responce soon
Have you tried using punctuation? It really helps to identify the end of a sentence. It can also help communicate your thoughts more effectively. Don't forget; it also helps the reader not to feel like they've been whacked across the head with a 2x4.
Do you have a DMM (voltage meter) to test the voltage of the batteries? If they came with some charge and if your charger is broken, it might explain the low output.
