I recently bought a heavy duty PSU for some heavy load tests. It says it can deliver a constant 40 Amps @ ~16V DC, so I thought we'll see and decided to put it to the test, so far it has passed without missing a beat !! I've seen 43 Amps @ 15V with the load in the pics, the load being fencing wire BTW, without the overload light coming on. I have to say that so far I am VERY impressed !!!!!
It's a Powertech, this one here. This is one of the few times I've bought something that does exactly what it says it can, and a bit more. Except for my old Herc. of course.
