Well it's been a while but it's done. ;D All my time into this thing has paid off. I am running it at 300 mA and have had it on for about 40 minutes with no problem. The temperature of the diode is roughly 67 degrees Fahrenheit. about 10 degrees cooler than my room temperature. 
I only wish I had a meter to test the power. :-/. It will burn a hole in floppy within 15 seconds. It uses a 16X GB diode. Well I have some photos and a video. Let me know what you guys think.
