TEA Laser?

I was wandering around Instructibles and came across this guy's site http://jarrodkinsey.com/
He shows how to make a TEA laser, which i have never seen or heard of before. But it looks relatively easy.
He also uses some sort of dyes to change its color, pretty cool.
Anyone seen this before?

hmm. it looks rather simple. and pretty cool too.
maybe ill get around to making one someday :]
