Going for my first pointer tomorrow!

Getting a green colored, between 80-100mw, rugged, 18650 battery pointer of some sort.

I don't know if I need an IR filter or not, the topic seems to be varied in opinion by many people. I would like to have one I guess, better safe than sorry eh? Getting some glasses with it and hopefully some insta-shipping, heh.

Going to start on the classifieds, but I'm trying to stay under $100, which I think will be kind of easy. Where'd you get your best bang for the buck greenie?!

take a look at the Companies section, although, you could try your luck at an Eeekbay new wish special, they are all overspec, some ~the 100mW mark all for around $5

Nah, I don't want to go that route. I want something safe and well made...I like buying for quality, not quantity. :)

I haven't seen anything on the classies, so the companies section was my next route.

PS - Do you play the didgeridoo or did you just like that avatar pic? I play, if you're wondering about my question! :D

Try laserbtb, they have some good 532nm laser pens for good prices

I was wondering this...

Seems like the favorite cheaper ones (that are still decent) are
lazerer
laserbtb
and more...

As for the quality ones
Optotronics (Great pointers in a cheap host)
JetLasers
CNI
Lasever
and more...

Going through now, wish me luck!

I've been playing for about 4 now...I have 3 different didgis, but my favorite is my self made pvc one, heh. I can use it as a walking stick and instrument at festivals and don't have to worry about it getting messed up!
