Heh heh, I feel like such a noob asking this, but does anybody have any suggestions on where I might find some supplies to build my own laser? Please no eBay..

Get a laser diode preinstalled in an aixiz module here
Look at this thread for building a laser diode driver.
You can get all the parts to build it here
You can also get all the parts from radioshack, look at the bottom of the page.
If you don't want to build the driver just get the diode preinstalled in a housing from the first link and get this flashlight. Look at this thread for building a laser using that flashlight, or look at the video walkthrough.
