Suggestions Required.

Hello All,
I'm new to Galvo Scanners and I'm intrested in building my own Galvo Amp and Control Board. I recently purchased a mini laser projector and I wonder if I could use the Amp board it has got. I also have a question if I could control the galvo motors using a PIC Microcontroller. If anyone has an example circuit or some reference website to do it, please suggest me with it.
I found circuits in the internet, but I am never sure if I could control it using a Microcontroller. Please guide me.
