Sorry if this has been discussed before but I couldn't find anything in the search.
Is it feasible to have static Thread urls. I say this because the topic title is part of the url and when the topic changes so does the url thus making older links not valid.
Eg: If the topic was "abcd 1234", the url will be something like this: http://laserpointerforums.com/f39/abcd-1234.html
and if the topic was changed to "1234 abcd" the original url will not be valid anymore
