Standstone11 Geen Modules

every review i've seen for her modules has been positive. The modules are not IR filtered, so the true green is usually 80-90% of the total mW. The ratings are accurate and most of her modules exceed the spec listed.

I have two 80~100 on the way to me and already own two 40~50 modules from her.

Bottom line:
Her modules are not IR filtered, but you'd be hard pressed finding a better price for their rating.

Yeah.... my 40-50mW Modules are actually over spec...

I also bought an 80-100mW module from her last week.... at that price
there is not much available... even without an IR filter... ;)

They have gotten positive reviews so far, but they have to be purchased in quantities of 6 or more, so you'd have to get a group buy together. Jayrob was trying to generate interest, but its hard to get people to lay down $300+

I like those modules but the beam diameter is big compared to an RPL or an Aries. That inhibits its close range burning capabilities (doesn't really bother me though).

I was thinking this housing might work.

Has anyone ever bought one of these? Is it easy to disassemble and work with?

I have one from the 300-350mw beam diameter is really big i think 3 mm.

I tune up by potmod from 2,1 amp to 2,8 amp.

And its working with some extra heatsink @550mw output without ir filter.

Some picts and review tomorow...

New_Reverie - It's the handhelds that have to be purchased in quantity.

I just purchased (not rec'd yet) one of the 400-450mw modules. The modules are available singly.
When I receive it I will be making a handheld with it.

I ordered two 40-50mW modules and they both output more then specs. They can also be driven higher than the 3V recommended. They heat up, though.

I next ordered three cheap green laser pointers (5-10mW). Unfortunately, I got modules. I told Susie right away and the problem was resolved.

Nutshell :make sure you communicate well
:customer service is great!

Does the green output go down when they heat up?

I am not sure about timescales of seconds, but from ~60 seconds on the power only deviates by a maximum of +/- 10%.  Fairly stable, I'd say.

EDIT: As long as your heat sink is adequate.
