Sony Optiarc 20X vs. LiteOn 22X?

For the same price, Newegg has a Sony Optiarc 20X DVD burner and a LiteOn 22X DVD burner.
1. Which would give me a higher sustanable max. current under the same duty cycle (assuming it's short, under 30 seconds)?
2. Which would give me a longer life at the same current, say 300mA?

You can run open cans at 420-500 ma's as long as you have ANY kind of heatsink. ;D Anyways nobody really knows if there is a difference between the two but there is going to be a group buy for some good 20x sleds. Here -->

all liteon burners ive tried have short dies. not to mention the hardest heatsink to extract from :-/ but are there liteons out there with long dies?

not life span, they just cant handle the same current so they will be less powerful.
