Sony AD-5240 Laser diode ?

Hi,

I will buy this 24x Drive and use LD for laser pointer.
But i dont know which it use laser diode.
Do he use standard 5.6mm LD or other nonstandard diode.
If someone use AD-5240 for laser pointer can tell my whics is LD inside.

A lot of modern burners have the red diode in a plastic package, not the 5.6mm package we know and love.

Unless someone here has already dismantled one here, there's no way to know. Hint: do this next time.

Just buy an already-harvested laser diode.
