sony 140mW red 650nm laser diodes

Hi,

This isn't an actual sale yet, but I'm just seeing how much interest there would be for these diodes. I don't know exact prices, but I'm thinking I would sell them at about US$30 including air mail shipping to anywhere. You wouldn't have to wait ages for the diodes either because it wouldn't be a group buy; I would have all the diodes in stock. Would anyone be interested in this in the future?

That diode is an old 'version' of Senkat's diodes. That one is for 8x dvd, then there's 12x and then there's 16x. 16x=250mW pulsed, 8x =140mW pulsed.

I voted no. We might have a chance to get the Phaser diode for the same price or a little more, and SenKats diodes are 250mw's, and are a much better price..

I'm not saying its the best deal out there or anything, Senkat's are way better when looking at $/mW.

Personally i wouldn't be interested, but perhaps they're a good thing for people building a laser that will pop a balloon or light a match on a tight budget?
