Unfortunately i didnt find this forum before i bought my first laser...

True 10mW Green Laser Pointer Pen Black [P352] : BestOfferBuy.com, Buy DVD, Shop for PC accessories, Discount MP3 Players, Bargain Deal for Surveillance Equipment, Cheap R4 for NDS, X-sim Unlock

It lights up brightly for under a second and then becomes very dim.. Tried other batteries.. Didnt work..

Please check the attached video.

P.S.
I just want to see the beam in air at night.. Anyway to open up the laser and increase its power?
I can post photos of how it looks on the inside so you can help me take it apart.

I don't know if it would be worth trying to fix. You could just get another off ebay from itemquickship; send him a message saying you're from lpf because he has discounts for us. You could also try one of the lower powered ones from o-like (their lowest powered lasers are 50mW but they are $30-$40 with shipping). hope this helps; sorry i can't help with fixing that one. It sounds like the crystals are misaligned or something.

thanks david1235102, but i cant use my own funds in paypal to buy stuff (stupid government)..

Another thing i noticed is that if i use the laser after a long time it stays bright for longer (like 2-3 seconds)... Then after using it a few times it stays bright only for like half a second.

Any help on opening it so i can turn that lil knob thing inside a lil bit?
There is like some metal casing inside on which the PCB sits... Think there silver/gray casing is glued inside...

i just watched your video. i don't recognize that kind of flash. i would say batteries but it goes dim too fast....
also, if you trust me to (and if you're in the U.S.), you can send me cash for one, and I could buy one with my paypal account. just pm me if you think that could work and i'll see what i can do to help.
as for the flashing problem with your current laser, i honestly have no idea what it could be, sorry man.
