These pics were taken about a month ago over the course of a week. I used a Slinky, a small sphere of uranium glass (illuminated by UV in some, white light in others), and eventually my LK-PD2 projector w/DMX control. When the Slinky is placed behind the glass spheres, amazing patterns form which can be manipulated by changing the camera angle, various lighting schemes, and the angle of the light hitting the Slinky. It is really endless as every little move or change creates something different. I have taken photos similar to this before, but I think these are different from what I have done in the past. The last few are without the Slinky. Many of the shots here are the same shot with minor variations in color, positioning, etc., but I am posting them to show the nuances of adding or subtracting something from the picture. A very vibrant bunch of photos with a few of them that captured my vision of what I was trying to do.
Enjoy

Bruce, these are all so wonderful; I can't even begin to pick a favorite, love em all!

As always, a fine integration of photons and photography.

:gj: and :kewlpics: +rep!

Always a pleasure to see that you have posted some new photos---is never a question that you will like them is always which one do you like best.

Fantastic photos, something new and different once again from you. I like them all --they show the set-up and evolution of photos using same.

Beautiful laser photo artworks---really nice :thanks: :kewlpics: :gj:

+rep when I can

Awesome photos, Bruce. I see you are using a projector more in your shots than you used to. I like the slinky and projector background shots the best. + Rep.

Ohh Put this one in a frame, actually I may put it on my desktop :D

Very nice. :kewlpics:

I almost went to bed without seeing these! Weekend is complete...now.

Jumped out at me, each for different reasons.
Just naming 3 pictures in that list was pretty tough, so many gems. My real list is 12 long :)
Thank you for posting these!!

Thanks everyone!
In many of these I am using a 505nm,495nm and 488nm. I still have not tired of photographing these frequencies and am still amazed how inexpensive these frequencies are and that they all become available at roughly the same time. Add in a 473 nm and you get a nice 4 frequency greenish blue rainbow. I have taken many shots of that in the past few months. Such nice pastel colors, and when combined with other more vibrant colors (see last few pics), even look nicer.
