I got a new toy from ionlaser555, a lab 473 with a fair amount of oomph.
I powered it up tonight and laid out my other lasers and some mirrors and got some interesting results. I've been waiting for a new lens to arrive but since this setup worked so well tonight I decided to do some photos now.
The 473 and my 532 portable compete for brightness and wash the room with a turquoise green colour.
Switch on my 445 portable and as usual, it steals the show. A shift of camera angle and me standing holding a black beamstop helped reduce some of the blue intensity, though.
Then I got up close and personal.
Again.
The setup was a mirror behind the camera and then a mirror again that you can see, creating a "Z" shape in the beams.
I'm not as blown away with the colour of 473 as some are, to be honest I could take it or leave it. I think DPSS yellow/s are still my true love.
