I'm finally selling my RPL-425.
It has about 60-70minutes of use over the 4 year period. Never longer than 5min of On time at the time.
It is in pristine condition, and it has been mainly sitting in its original box.
I occasionally tested the output, and it has not changed since i first got it. This past month, I had my 10W Laser power meter tested and calibrated by Jerry (lasersbee) who also helped me build it from old Kenometer. It uses Termopile head, and data logging.
Power averages about 530mW-550 within 60seconds when unit is warmed up. If its kept ON for 3-5 minutes, average is in upper 400s, This is easily an RPL-450 by all means. Jack from Optotronics told me it has frequent high peaks, and I can tell you it does reach 580-600 regularly with fresh battery.
I'm asking $600 for everything, which includes:
One RPL-425
Two tail caps, One with key switch+ a key, and one with adjustable power settings.
Two rechargeable batteries
One charger
Original box+certificate from Optotronics
