-Dr.Lava flexdrive, set to 975mA
-Jayrob "pocket mini kit"

-445nm 3 element glass lens

This build originally cost $160 to build. I am asking only $120 shipped via USPS priority W/ DC#.

im not sure on long term runtimes, i havent used it that much, but id suggest using it with a 30 second duty cycle, with 30 sec on, 1 minute off. its not required, but thats what i would suggest.

Duty cycle was what i meant to ask. Been thinking flashlights too much. Sounds like good numbers to me! I'm still doing my research and purchasing glasses online the same time I decide on a laser.
(Been a lurker here for a while, spend a lot of time on CPF, finally decided to join this family.)

....Not that that has anything to do with your beautiful build....

Okay, here are some quick statistics for you:

1W= 1,000mW

standard laser pointer= 5mW
minimum power to burn= ~100mW
Lights matches in ~3 sec= 200mW
Cuts electrical tape= 300mW
Pops ballons on contact= 500mW
Burns wood= 700mW
Cuts through plastic= 1,000 mW

so yes, this laser burns
