Last week I was shining with a kaleidoscopic star Laserpointor over a Christmas tree.... It give a nice romantic Christmas effect like if you hanging a lot off liitle lights into the tree :P ...And only with a smal laserpointer with 2 small AAA battery's
So if you can charge the battery at daylight with a solar panel the laser will shine at night?

Only if the Solar Panel has enough current output to fully charge
your batteries in 1 day of light...

The batteries will run the Laser until they they are depleted by your Laser..

Its kind of a lot of work. and will definitely not provide a return on investment. I would recommend just feeding it with a 3V wall wart on a timer.
