I was thinking about buying a beam expander for my Arctic like the 10X one from their site. I'm excited to see this sucker with a gigantic, fat, beam. Especially in the winter hitting the snowflakes. And when thinning it out I know it's more sharp and can travel longer, but I'm curious if when I use it to thin out the diameter of the beam, will the focusing effect make the beam brighter because of the greater density of light per area of the beam?
