I bought some lasers from Rayfoss but custom "disposed" of the lasers that were >5mW but we have come to an agreement where Rayfoss would be sending the lasers again.

What is the best scenario for me to receive the lasers (I am in USA)::

1) Remove all laser stickers (Or replace them with 5mW ones) and send all 4 lasers to me
2) Same as #1 but send it in 2 packages with 2 lasers in each one
3) Remove all laser stickers (Or replace them with 5mW ones) & send the top halves of the lasers in 1 package and bottom halves in another
4) Send it to my friend in Canada and then he can send it to me when he gets it

Option 1 or 3 should be the best.

I'll give you the same advice as I do for people who ship stuff to Argentina: The smaller the package, the better. Ask her if she can ship it in a low profile envelope.

Would it matter if she sends it by regular hong kong post or by fast ems?

Yes. Ask her to send it by regular hong kong post. EMS will not arrive faster whatsoever and you up your chances of getting your package inspected like 1000%.

A small package that weighs nothing and is declared as useless stuff/gift will not be bothered.

Those bastards!
That sucks. Sorry to here that you shipment was stopped. You know right now. That one of those agents has a nice new toy.

I have ordered 3 different lasers from her. With no problems. last order, I even used EMS. That was very quick, 4 days. Straight from china to San Fransisco.
Normal post has to go through JFK in new york then clear cross to Ca. You live here in the sf bay area right Abolfazl?

Just have remove all labels and ship the end caps and battery's separate.

I thought only EMS crosses the pacific

Yeah I live in San Carlos, CA. I have received the batteries, charger, goggles, manual, case so she just has to send the actual lasers

So I am thinking I am going to have her replace all the stickers with ones that say 5mW and have her send the tailcap separate from the actual laser. She can send the real stickers with the tailcap

Only question now is between what shipping.

That doesn't matter. It seems like all EMS shipments are inspected, where as only a few Hong Kong post shipments will be inspected, especially will be inspected if the shipment contents say "100mW green laser".

You could try to get them to label it as "Electrical Component" and then put the model number of whatever you're buying (like PHR803T, LPC815, or whatever model laser you're getting). This way the information is so precise that not many know what it means, and all parties are telling exactly what is inside.

Thats very smart. So instead of lying i would be telling the truth.. to confuse them :)
But I am afraid even without the tailcaps the 4 lasers would be noticeable (bigger package) Would I be safe by just doing 2 packages (1 for tailcaps and the other for the lasers) or 3 packages (1 for tailcaps & 2 lasers in each other package)
