I have just ordered a Sharp GH05C01B9G diode on eBay. Will be using a VN-30 20mm 1500mA buck driver with it, powered with 2 18650 2500mah batts.
This will be my first 520nm as I’ve been a 445nm fan since 2011. So I’m excited to see the differences in brightness, beam quality, dot density and so forth. Judging by searching various places online this seems to be a pretty popular diode underneath the NDG700 which I wanted to get at first but figured I should start with this.
Anyone use this particular diode? If so, your thoughts?
