Sharp GH04W10A2GC 1w laser build.

Hello. Today I decided to make a small review of my Sharp 405nm GH04W10A2GC build. I use 750mA driver for this build. Output power should be about 1W. This device is powered by 2 16340/18350 batteries. Divergence from this multimode diode is pretty good, much better than my other multimode diodes. The brightness of this thing is average, but for violet lasers is very good. The visibility of the beam is better than on my 638nm 300mW due to Rayleigh scattering. Color is pure violet, I don't see it blue at all, probably 405-410nm. Here's a some photos and beamshots:

Very nice, I'm also a fan of those Convoy housings.
405 is a very cool wavelength and yes the divergence of these multi mode diodes is pretty good, especially with a longer FL lens.
I push most of mine @ 1.25A and get about 1.8W with the G8 lens.

I also think to put the driver on 1A, but it's a little scary for the lifetime of the diode
