So I had a surreal experience and now have an idea how to share it with the world. Im sure this post will draw a lot of ridicule and skepticism but I am looking for help building a device to reveal something fantastic. In the following text I am going to provide a brief history of my experience and the evidence to substantiate it.
Choosing to believe it or not is entirely on you. Im not trying to convince anyone of anything other than I need help and advice building a device which I feel will further my claims.

About a year and a half ago my home security camera caught something on video. The very chance of me even finding it was slim and the circumstances purely circumstantial. Anyway while reviewing the video I saved a 20 second clip of something I thought was just plane odd. I had forgotten about even saving the clip until an event occurred a couple weeks or more afterwards. I am going to refrain from discussing the event. Just review the attached video recording and images.

If you notice in the upper left hand corner about 3 seconds into the video an anomaly presents itself. The included pictures are an individual single frame from the clip at which the anomaly is the most prevalent. A negative filter was applied for purposes of contrast enhancement however the most disturbing picture is the raw image of that individual frame.

The reference material speaks for itself. If you are interested in what I have in mind I will continue making posts and discussing the matter based upon the responses i get. I dont want to waste my time or yours. Again im not trying convince anyone of anything nor am I trying to sell anything. In fact im looking to buy what I need.

well the video wont post so ive provided a link:

Occam's razor is your best friend. You could believe it is alien nanobots invading your house, or you could believe it is some drywall dust falling off the ceiling due to theremal expansion and contraction (as an example). This is what separates science from superstition.

Science is far from settled. Not like yours, but I have had some strange events on a few occasions. My theory about ghosts and other unusual events is based on theories of the universe. One such theory, is that there are an infinite number of parallel universes all coexisting at the same time, separate from one another. I wonder if at times, these universes can interact slightly in certain places, certain conditions. So your "ghost" is a real person in a different universe, and to them, maybe YOU are the ghost.

Naw I'm pretty sure those were just alien interns that came to study humanity and accidentally turned off their phase cloaking device for a split second

I share in your ideas. I am not sure how to explain it but I am sure it can be brought to light so to speak. I have done extensive research on the matter and have come to the conclusion that whatever it is can be exposed as it exists in a plane slightly more energetic than ours. I think scanning with a light source in both the UV and IR range will illuminate it.

Occam's razor? I dont understand.

Lol perhaps I can send them to your place.
In all honesty though, I don't think a species as primitive as us would be able to hypothetically detect such cloaked beings... in theory they would even be non-corporeal

It's not a ghost... until you have eliminated all other explanations. For example: Did you look on the floor to any debris?
How can you be so sure? I dont believe it is a ghost either. It is more likely a demon which is captured in the last image.

The simplest explanation is usually the correct one. Saying that something ordinary is more likely than it being undead or aliens.
I think to limit the possibilities to something simple would be denying the potential of it not being simple. Quantum mechanics is anything but simple yet it is real. Simple was my first reaction when i found the anomaly and thought wow that was odd. I honestly wish I could dismiss it with simple explanation but there is so much more to it. I tried ignoring it for a while but it kept making its presence known.

Maybe we are thinking of it totally the wrong way? We are not as primitive as you may think. Or maybe being primitive has nothing to do with being able to see and be aware.

Heh, while many members are sharp as a tack and technologically competent, bringing a subject like this here will result in what you are seeing every time. In my experience, it is difficult to find the right crowd for this kind of thing, either you will find folk who deny possibilities, or folk who blindly accept them, neither are what I would share my interests in this kind of thing, unfortunately. I love some of these guys, but for the laser hobby we share, this kind of thing isn't their interest, a few perhaps might entertain such, but not for most.

They can be correct about their denials too, but that doesn't mean every unexplained thing which happens should be dismissed. My two cents, if this thing is really an out of this world energy of some kind, I bet you can shoot a laser through it and not even detect it.
I understand your position on the matter and respect your opinion but I am really not bringing this matter to debate the existence or non existence. I am looking for assistance in developing a light source to expose what I believe exists. I dont think the possibility should be so quickly dismissed that laser technology wont assist in defining the anomaly. I think experimentation would do more for exploring the possibilities. I am willing to spend a certain amount of money to do this.

You are absolutely correct with regards to finding the right crowd. However all opinions matter at this point. I don't want to fixate on a nonproductive aspect but then again how do i seek assistance if I am not being transparent about the subject. It is difficult anyway you cut it to be honest but from prior discussions I have found that being subversive and misleading tends to discourage people much quicker. Having better control of the direction in which the discussion leads is ideal but I am working and learning my way through it. So thanks for your input as it is noted.

Sigh, as I expected from these folk. No effort made to figure out the phenomenon, only whimsical speculation. Mods please lock this thread before it gets out of hand.
