Whilst most people are genuine and honest i feel it nessesary to point out that if anyone is caught SCAMMING fellow members on this forum. We will have no alternative but too BAN the offender from this forum for life....

I hope this serves as a fair warning and everyone can trade fairly in the future...

If you have any problems with a trade here then use this thread to name and shame the SCAMMER so this can be brought to the attention of all the members, us the moderaters and the admin too.....

Whatever happened to being hung, drawn, and quartered? Or at least lose a hand? THAT seems MORE appropriate.

I thought you Brits weren't allowed to have knives...or anything past a pointy stick for that matter. ;) :D ;D :D ;)
 
We are not aloud these knives as they were outlawed 10 years ago, but because I'm a black belt & over in several martial arts I can have these for training purposes. 8-)
 
Scammed by death angel

Near the end of october i was looking for someone to provide me with a pre-made lm317 based driver. I contacted Death Angel as he replied to my post.

He built the driver and took a picture of it for me. Looked good, but i would have liked it to be adjustable so i asked for him to add a pot. He said that would be no problem.

I wanted to receive it soon, so i paid 8 dollars for priority shipping. The agreed upon price was 20$ shipped. That includes $2 for shipping (priority only costs 5-6 dollars) He asked for $28 with priority. Odd he wanted more than it would cost him, but i didn't complain.

On the 7th of November i received a PM from Death Angel saying he had shipped the item.

I received it yesterday, how weird that it would take THAT long with priority shipping. Right? Well he did not ship it priority. I paid for priority. He said he shipped it the 7th. The package said he shipped the 19th. But he wouldn't lie... would he?

I received this message from him six days before the package was post marked

"your shit has been shipped man. I can't control the mail. Sorry. undecided You'll have to wait it out."




So i open the package, theres a driver in there... but wheres the pot? I paid for a driver with a pot, and there is definetly not one on this. I test it out (the wires weren't stripped, so i know he didn't) and its putting out over 4 volts with 6 in. odd...

I contacted Death Angel about him stealing my shipping money, lying about when he shipped it and not giving me what i wanted. I get this reply.

"DUDE STFU YOU WHINY LITTLE BABY. MY FUCKING DAD JUST DIES YOU FUCKING MORON. I DONT HAVE TIME FOR THIS BULL SHIT. THE FUCKING DRIVER WORKS FINE. AS FAR AS THE POT GOES, I TOTALLY FORGOT ALL ABOUT IT. OOPS! I HAVE BIGGER PROBLEMS RIGHT NOW THAN A STUPID LASER DRIVER CIRCUIT. THE WIRES WERENT STRIPPED BECAUSE I CUT THEM CLEAN AFTER I TESTED IT. I DID YOU A FAVOR. I HAVE TO GO NOW BUT THANKS FOR MAKING ME FEEL LIKE SHIT AFTER MY FATHER PASSED AWAY. I APPRECIATE IT."


Very professional.

A second message from him

"DUDE SUCK MY FUCKING DICK DUDE YOU AINT GETTING A REFUND. I SENT IT WHEN I SENT IT. ARE YOU DEAF?????? I SAID MY DAD JUST DIED!!!!! YOU PIECE OF SHIT. DONT MESSAGE ME EVER AGAIN YOU WORTHLESS ASSHOLE!!!"




So in the end, i'm left with a driver that is less than functioning that isn't what i paid for, ripped off out of 8 dollars i paid for shipping, was lied to for 12 days about him having shipped it.

Paypal could do nothing in the resolution center, didnt really expect them to. Its me Vs. him. Nothing can be proved.

At the very least i should be given the $8 back, he stole that money and hes admitted it should have been priority.

I trust you will all keep an eye on this person, you won't realize what happened untill its too late. He is a terrible person.
 
Okay Dingle I will give your $8.00 back to you for the priority shipping. And as a token of good faith I will send you a new driver when I am feeling better. I apologize for the harsh words but like I said I was on the verge of breaking down man. I don't feel I scammed you in any way. So like I said if you want another driver, then I will get on it as soon as I can and I will refund your $8.00 for the shipping mistake on my end.
 
Chris: using two pronouns in a sentence with no context is a bit hard to decipher...


Anyways, i truly appreciate you making this right.

I dunno if your dad really did die, it seems to be a card people pull alot on the internet but maybe he did. Sorry about that.

And apreciate you sending me the new driver (hopefully with a pot) I'd be 100% willing to send this one back if you'd like.

You can put that money towards priority shipping it if you'd like :P

Dude I am a grown man I do not need to lie about something so serious to try and cover my own mistakes. Like I said I am in a rough point in my life ATM and I will make things right with you. Don't worry about sending the other one back to me. PM me your shipping info when you get a chance. Thanks.

P.S. I would appreciate you deleting you digrating post up above. There really was no need to publicize that.
 
Death Angel - there really IS a valid reason for publicizing it - especially after receiving the emails he already HAD received from you, and you not making it right until it was published, and until after I had to get involved in the whole thing AGAIN.

Sorry to hear about your Father, it really sucks to lose a loved one like that. Now - that is NO excuse to treat others like shit, either. I am locking this thread to preserve everything intact so folks can know what to expect when dealing with you. There is no reason t oreact the way you did, PERIOD. This is a big family on here - I feel attachments towards almost every single member of this forum - and it pisses me off to no end when they are treated like that. Your business dealings are over on here as far as I am concerned. I sincerely hope you DO follow through with everything you said you would.
