I wonder if the next laser is safe considering that it has diffraction grading to show not point but line:

Aliexpress.com : Buy 650MDLC 30 1235 BL 3in1 Focusable Adjustable (dot/line/cross) 30mw 650nm 660nm Red Laser Module 12mmX35mm from Reliable red laser module suppliers on Wuhan Laserlands Laser Equipment Co., ltd.

As not an expert I can say that due to diffraction gratings the beam emitting power is diffused to the line so the resulting power at each small area is safe and will not harm an eye. Is it true? If yes, is it true for 30mW red laser?

Well you'll never know for sure the output from these lasers, without testing them

There's no diffraction there; it's all refraction.

It depends on the distance, but yes, unless you're pointing it into an eye at close range, it is safe.
