Safety glasses

I can't believe so many parents are giving lasers their children in the UK that 130 of them have suffered some retinal damage since 2013. I gave my daughter a He-Ne laser when she was 12, but only after going over the hazards of damage to the eyes. It was also under 5 mW, but still I had to be sure she would not do anything that could hurt her or others vision before she was allowed to have it. I made it especially large too. And it had to be plugged into a 110 outlet to power it up. She never had a problem with it and owns several lasers today. All gifts from her dad.
