Hi

Im new to the forum and new to fairly new to lasers. I ripped 2 laser diodes out of a old dvd burner. I have tested them at a 2mA. And they both had a faint glow. Are there fairly cheap glasses for both these lasers? Or would i need one for red and one for ir?

And does anyone have a clue on how much mA i can run these? I dont know how many x the dvd burner was.
