Hi, I am interested in buying, or putting together, a red pointer which can project a clean round adjustable beam pattern at 2-5deg at 5-50m. At long distance visability is an issue, so I'm not sure but maybe 200mW is a reasonable aim running on li-ion. Beam expanders seem like an expensive option so I will stick with adjustable focus.
I'm also interested in this WB one so if anyone can tell me what to expect from it (I read ~80mW for this class)

Most adjustable focus pointer descriptions don't have good photos of under/overfocused beams, so I hope there are some guidelines I can follow for selecting one
