Hello Everyone!

I don't mess around with lasers anymore unfortunately, but I am still building things or trying at the very least. I am working on a startup that is producing a product for men's haircuts.

We are trying to get a gauge on people's experiences while getting their hair cut. Men's haircuts today do not differ much from the 1950s! The only real changes have been to the electronic clippers. We are trying to innovate in new ways and would like your thoughts!

If you are not interested I absolutely understand, but I thought id check back with this reliable community and see if anyone could help me out with a 10 question survey. Your opinions would be immensely helpful!

Here is the link - https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/8DBK5HW

Thanks all!

Thank you!

yeah one day I may get back into it. Hopefully this takes off and I can have the budget for some really crazy projects :gun:

Nice to see you again, hope your financial future allows for some of your laser projects!
I took the survey, but it would be nice to have a little more of an idea of how your product works, and maybe a pic or sketch of it. :)

Wow. haven't seen that name post in an eternity it seems. I took the survey for you. I agree with the others though, a picture or sketch of zuka would be great. I think I found the startup page but would prefer to allow helios to link it. Wording seems to match the survey and reading the startup page could easily skew survey results.

Thanks guys!

I purposely didn't share the product website mainly because I don't want to have everyone read the pitch before the survey. If you think you found it...you did. Not many products of this type and only one of the name. For the survey I want people going in cold.

The more responses I can get the better so thanks to everyone so far and if you haven't taken it yet I would really appreciate it. It's also super short FYI

I've never had a wet back. Ideally the stylist dampens your hair. If the water is dripping down your neck, it would seem to me that is a procedural problem. As for the itchy back, that's caused by the hair dust falling down after I leave the stylist. Unless I wear this product all the way home to my shower, or pay triple to get the shampoo option, it it something I have to live with.

You'll clearly know more about the industry than I, but those are my thoughts from a lay perspective.

I beg to differ, SIR. Behold, the future!

Thanks for the feedback (I've always wanted to try a flowbee just to see haha)

It is important that stylists follow the instructions that come with the kit. In those instructions they are asked to blow off excess hair with their hair dryer. Without the collar hair can get caught in the folds of paper or the neck portion of the cape unless it is very neatly applied and quite tight which can be uncomfortable. If the collar is loose then it can fall right through. Most people think the paper is used to help stop hair but it is not it is just used so that they don't have to wash the capes very often! With the collar and by following the instructions hair and water are prevented and the cape can be secured very loosely. Customers report that it is more comfortable and some report that they no longer go straight home to shower. Interestingly women with short dyed hair report a lot of problems with not just wet but permanently stained shirt collars which this product could prevent as well.
