restoring Wicked Lasers' Executive cases?

Since WL uses cheap coatings on its lasers, they get scratched easily. Does anyone know any good ways to restore the coatings?

Some people on LC say that they use black matte enamel paint, but I'm wondering if there are even better alternatives.

I got tired of the scratches on my executive fusion, so I reinstalled the laser in my silver leadlight case

Epoxy paint would be the best coating to use as it sets hard to resist scratches. Ask at a hardware or maybe even a hobby shop might deal in small quantities.
