One of my favorites for components and all kinds of stuff: Electronic Goldmine
There are several good sources on eBay for components - here are a couple:
NightFire Electronic Kits has what it calls 'kits'. Among them are fantastic resistor asortments, both SM and 'regular'.
Techno-Star also great (ex: 100 x 33ufd 16V tantalum for $6)
