About a year ago I bought a wicked laser spider on an auction site. After a couple of days of use I became cuorious and attempted to open the unit up, and in the process snapped all three internal wires.
I called WL to see if I could get it repaired, however the techs I spoke with was completely consumed with the warranty being void because it had been resold. It further seems that there is no process to have WL repair your laser unless it's under warranty.
This seems like an easy repair job, I took it to a handyman who verified the diode was not damaged but didn't want to attempt a repair.
I'm in Central Florida - does anyone know where I can get it repaired locally? I'm willing to allow a user that feels like that they could tackle the task as well.
