Recopilation Thread/Sticky for Reviews

My idea is to make a big thread with links to EVERY review ever made on LPF (I know it's hard but we could do this from now on) in the first post so we get a detailed list of reviews for every product we all come across (could be separated by company & product, etc. If there's more than one review about a product then great, just put the link right below the other review's).




If this is REALLY enforced we could do something really helpful for all of us, it doesn't matter if the reviews are lasers or flashlights (even a review about a company's performance, etc.), a big list for every product will avoid people asking "hey any1 got a review on X?" and it'll be really cool for anybody who is looking to buy any laser product.

I have no problem in managing it as long as users send me the links (I won't go around every review ever created, I don't have enough time on my hands for that).


In Spanish it's "Recopilación", and AFAIK the word Recopilation exists.
 
PM or email, anything you want (thanks for the help). This will really work only if many members read this thread as I'm sure only three members can't keep up with it.
 
I'm surprised I haven't seen this thread, I like the idea though. How would the thread be organized? By Company, then color, then style? This will sure be a task, but it would still be very helpful.

I still need to update the links in some of my other stickied threads though...I should go do that right now while I'm thinking about it...

My idea:

Company -- Colour -- Style (Pen/Unique/RPL) -- Power (Low 5-50/Mid 50-150/High >150) -- Positive/Negative feedback

How do we start something like this? It is such a huge task that we have to think of a good way to start it off. It would be nice if we could start it like a wiki or something so multiple people could add reviews and categories of lasers. Only if there was a way to allow multiple people to edit a post. Would it be easier to go to one of those free forum sites, approve people that want to help be moderators, and then work on it from there?
