Sorry, it's just that someone took the time to reply to my post and *imply* that they had an answer to my question, only to give me no real information or even a link, I felt insulted, because we all KNOW it takes 5 hours of grueling labour to post a hyperlink

Sorry goes a long way, as does your explanation. It's okay to get frustrated on occasion - hell, I have been known to be a little "grumpy" in some posts once in a while we'll leave this up - since disappearing threads are horrible for a forum - and honestly, if someone only recalled the bad remark, and never got to see your retraction - that would do more evil than good.
