I have one and it is TEC based. The software is available online and has worked very well for my purposes most of the time. I paid $110.00 for mine including the printed case new.

No, sorry. I was just answering the questions about the meter. It was the second one I bought and since my Laserbee wasn't compatible with my laptop to data log, I got this one. Since then I got a Scientech Vector S310 meter with the AC2500 astral calorimeter with a three second response time and able to measure 10 watts.
