Hello laser pointer community! I created an account to ask a question about my "301 Laser" i dont know what company made it. But it sayed on a sticker 1W laser , but unfortunately the sticker wore off. So my question is: Why doesn' it burn matches or baloons? That's more likely near 50 mW or so generic green laser pointer.

You really shouldn't expect any miracles from it. If you want a stronger laser, it's going to cost a lot more.

As Eud said, it is likely it's less than 50mW. In fact, if you're having trouble popping balloons it might be around the 30mW or under range.

Laser 301's are known for being decent beginner lasers because of their cheap price and generally decent output (varies between 20mW to 100mW typically). You will never find a 1W green laser for less than a few benjamins....
