I'm saying there's absolutely no way to tell what you will get if you order a laser off of eBay. It could be 50mW or it could be a box of Saltine crackers. Unless you happen to own a laser power meter and some IR filters I would not advise it.
Often the lasers off ebay have no IR filter, so for a 50mw you might only get 10mw of green light and 40mw of invisble infrared light. Often the laser on ebay are also underpowered, because they assume you don't have a power meter. Unless the equipment both of these specs, I would advise that go to a reputable dealer to get your laser.
