I finally harvested another BR. It doesn't start lasing until I have it up to 55ma's. It puts out around 20mw's at 75ma's.

interesting... similar experience here - a diode from a unit from Daedal was acting 'normal' until mis-handled - thought I'd killed it, but later while testing the red side of it I connected to the violet - and turned up the current to see how bright an LED I had ;D

It began lasing somewhere near 50-60 mA, and it holds steady at 100 mA. Doesn't seem to have the power it used to though, and it heats up and the beam is not very good. But there it sits, lasing away...
